For individuals who pre-ordered Crysis 2 at selected retail stores, this limited edition offers a free upgrade.

The gameplay remains the same, however, this edition offers the following day-one unlocks and multiplayer bonuses:
Players may access all classes right away because they begin at Level 5;
digital camouflage skin for SCAR rifles;
attachment for a hologram decoy weapon;
Special platinum frame for dog tags with several players.
Even though the console editions come in special Limited Edition packaging, a prepaid system code that is printed on a flyer and included with the game is still needed to activate the multiplayer extras.
