DuckStation Description
Stenzek is the primary developer of DuckStation, a free and open-source PlayStation emulator.
It has a graphical user interface, sophisticated “cheat” code support, upscaling, texture filtering, overclocking, PGXP, and CHD compatibility. Because of its usage of proprietary plugins, amazing emulation accuracy, cozy and attractive Qt-based interface, a broad range of emulation parameters, and outstanding compatibility, it became quite popular, even exceeding ePSXe and PCSX-Reloaded.
DuckStation aims to be as accurate as possible while preserving performance across a wide range of devices. It is developed with playability and speed in mind. Just a few of the upgrades have compatibility concerns; all playable games should be supported with the default setup. For optimal recompiler speed, 64-bit CPUs are needed.
Dolphin code was tested on DuckStation before being included in the main program. Stenzek has gone so far as to claim that the user interface was taken straight from Dolphin since it was “designed in conjunction with actual UI/UX people.”
