Soulcalibur has a great storyline. You can’t expect such a good story in a fighting game. The game’s universe is rich and deep. Each character has a story great enough to be its own game.

In this game, everyone searches for Soul Edge for some reason. Soul Edge is a demon sword with unparalleled power, but it will possess you. Most people want to use it for their purposes. Soul Edge is passed from person to person, turning them evil to gain more souls.

Then, a mysterious sword named Soul Calibur appeared to fight Soul Edge. The basic plot is the same, but what makes the game great is each character’s unique story.

The combat system is great because this is my first time playing a 3D fighting game where I can move the character around. Unlike 2D, like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter, you can move the character in any direction – left, right, back, or forward. You can dodge, block, and counterattack—lots of possibilities.

The game is both easy to play and profound. It perfectly combines what Smash Bros Melee and Brawl cannot. In short, the gameplay in Soulcalibur 2 is very well done, and I like the perfect combination of accessibility and complexity.

The game’s graphics are truly timeless. The art style is great. It is not a dark, realistic style like Soulcalibur 3, but it is also not as rigid as Soulcalibur 1. The style of the game is similar to Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Overall, Soulcalibur 2 is a great game. It’s very easy to play but profound for veteran players. This is the best fighting game of all time that you cannot miss.
