You won’t find out right away that there is a plot in God Hand, since there is no plot as such, and the whole story smacks of a mental hospital. A certain young man named Jin, for no apparent reason, once grew the legendary Hand of God, which is hunted by gangs of thugs under the supervision of otherworldly forces. The absurdity that follows hits all the cracks from the very first frames. Punks in the scenery of the Wild West and painted ladders in iron shorts run onto the stage, light music in the spirit of old French comedies purrs in the background, and endless dancing reigns all around. Everyone dances: enemies standing in the distance, Jin himself, if you leave him alone for a while; even the bosses are not shy about performing a couple of graceful steps in between portions of bone-crushing uppercuts. Adding to the idiocy is the invisible audience bursting into laughter after some particularly spectacular blows.

“Spectators” also react to the acquisition of skills, as well as their loss. Moreover, in order to get a new level and please a grateful audience, it is not necessary to attack everyone with your fists – sometimes it is enough to curse at your opponents, for which a whole button is dedicated. And so that all the above-described insanity does not become boring too quickly, new colors are constantly added to this psychedelic spectacle by tasks found in the most unexpected places. Who would have thought that on the outskirts of a nondescript “Texas” village you would be offered to crash a brand new ultra-modern car in a minute?
