Dragon Ball Z: Budokai for PS2 retells the story of Goku and his friends through all the sagas in the Dragon Ball Z series, from Saiyan to Cell, but for some reason, the game does not have the Majin Boo saga. If like me, you’re a big fan of the anime, you’ll understand what I just said and are probably wondering why they left the ending of the story out of the game. If you’re not a fan of Dragon Ball, I won’t go into the plot because neither you nor I have time for that. But all you need to know is that it’s an anime where people constantly fight each other, and they also become stronger when angry. Their hair also turns yellow or golden without even realizing it. Never mind, the game follows the plot of the series that has been shown on television for more than 30 years. So, if you are familiar with the series, then everything is fine. Otherwise, the plot will be quite confusing.

Anyway, we wouldn’t play Dragon Ball Z if we weren’t fans of this game series. The plot is not something you need to pay much attention to because the appeal of the game comes from fast-paced fighting matches with countless powerful and crazy combos. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai does this well and it deserves to be enjoyed again on the PS2 emulator.
