Freedom Fighters for XBOX takes place in a fictional reality where Russia won the Cold War and took over America. This sounds crazy, and it has a plot similar to the movie Red Dawn, where high school students fight the Russian army and lose. So funny!

Anyway, it’s the Freedom Fighters. The plumber hero is no stranger to games, but that was in the past. Now, Chris, the plumber, and his younger brother are separated by the Russians, and Chris will fight the entire Russian army to reunite with his younger brother.

Luckily, he has made some new friends, and they are ready to fight against his orders. Freedom Fighters was inspired by the question “What if the Soviet Union had not collapsed?” and “If Communists Invaded America?”. It seems that the Russians want to point out our capitalism’s mistakes.

Although Freedom Fighters seems like a standard run-and-gun shooter, there’s more to it than that. You can command up to 12 soldiers with a few simple steps. They will follow your orders, attack, and defend if you can earn their respect by proving yourself on the battlefield.

Once you have teammates, the game is great for two reasons. First, you are only given enough control to be busy, not to be a nanny. Second, teammates react appropriately to every situation.

There are two reasons, but actually three. The third reason is that you look cool commanding an army.

You also have full machine guns, Molotov cocktails, and sniper guns. If you don’t like guns, use some C4 to limit enemy reinforcements.

Plus, the game has an excellent multiplayer mode that allows you to command armies against other players.
