Helldivers takes place in the distant and grim future, where the player’s squad is the last line of defense on the about-to-be-captured Earth. The player controls a squad of four people, and any player can always join for cooperative play. You can play both online and on a single console. The gameplay will focus on using tactical capabilities and player interactions.

• Fight monstrous enemies and help your squad fighters become HEROES OF THE FEDERATION.
• Cover comrades who are trying to reach shelter, and revive fallen soldiers to bring them back into battle.
• Tactically use the team’s weapons and equipment and use the military signaling system to achieve coordinated squad actions.
