Helldivers takes place in the distant and grim future, where the player’s squad is the last line of defense on the about-to-be-captured Earth. The player controls a squad of four people, and any player can always join for cooperative play. You can play both online and on a single console. The gameplay will focus on using tactical capabilities and player interactions.

Fight monstrous enemies and help your squad fighters become HEROES OF THE FEDERATION.
Cover comrades who are trying to reach shelter, and revive fallen soldiers to bring them back into battle.
Tactically use the team’s weapons and equipment and use the military signaling system to achieve coordinated squad actions.
