Gravity Rush, while it looks like a stylish Sandbox game on the surface, really grabs attention with its fun gravity-defying platforming mechanics.

Gravity Rush puts you in the shoes of a young girl named Kat, who discovers that she has the ability to defy the laws of physics. Your powers are eventually used to help restore order to the city and its inhabitants, but along the way, you will discover the truth about your identity and the strange nature of the bizarre world around you.

The world of Gravity Rush is a unique open environment where you can freely roam and engage in various activities. You are initially confined to a small area on the map, but as you progress through the game, you will unlock new areas to explore. Although structured similarly to most sandbox games, Gravity Rush lacks side attractions. You’ll spend most of your time tackling story missions to unlock new areas.

Your rewards for completing missions are gems that you can use to upgrade your abilities. Additionally, completing enough objectives will increase your reputation, which increases the level cap for your skills. These RPG elements, along with the allure of unlocking new costumes, are enough to keep you wanting to explore.

Gravity Rush is certainly a beautiful game, achieving a level of visual fidelity that wouldn’t seem out of place in a high-end console game.
