The plot of the game tells about the Prince (son of the King of All Cosmos), who on behalf of his father must fill the sky, emptied by an accident, with stars. But not just stars, but stars made of Katamari. A brilliant game, the essence of which is to stick to your Katamari (something like a sticky ball with bumps) as much of everything as possible. It sounds quite simple, but in reality, everything is much more complicated and interesting: you can only stick objects that are comparable in size to your Katamari, and the timer does not allow you to relax for a minute. The katamari is constantly growing in size and you need to deftly determine which items are worth collecting for even greater growth in the allotted time, and which are already too small and will not make a noticeable difference. The game has a huge number of different tasks (from rolling a snowball to a burning Katamari and collecting firewood), dozens of unlockable characters (Prince’s relatives), and accessories (character clothing). Sometimes a level starts with collecting staples on a nursery floor and ends with pulling entire continents out of the Earth. Rolling the Katamari goes under catchy Japanese rock and pop music, perfectly complementing the original gameplay and design of the game.
