Guitar Hero: Smash Hits ROM Description

A spin-off game in the Guitar Hero series, Guitar Hero Smash Hits features a collection of songs from previous games in the series.

Games in this series include Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

Playable in Quick Play mode without completing the career first, the game’s set list now supports four players in a full band setup (introduced to the Guitar Hero series in World Tour), an eight-player battle of the bands’ setup, and all songs are now original recordings from the genuine artists.

The gameplay mechanics have also undergone some minor alterations. For example, slider notes have been added (repeated from World Tour) and the Expert+ difficulty option for drums has been retained (from Guitar Hero: Metallica).
