Thanks to the Terastal phenomenon, which can only be observed in the Paldea region, Pokémon shine and sparkle like gemstones. Terastallize your Pokémon at key moments in battle and activate its Tera Type to gain an advantage. This will increase the power of moves of the same type as your Pokémon’s Tera Type, and change your Pokémon’s weaknesses!

Pokémon Violet lets you and three other Trainers participate in Tera Battles, where you must defeat a wild Pokémon that has Terastallized within a certain amount of time. Attack without waiting for other Trainers’ turns, and cheer on your allies’ Pokémon to improve their stats!
