Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus is the sequel to the wildly successful 2D fighting game in the anime style.

An improved version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core is called Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus. Accent Core Plus kept the fighting system mostly the same as the prior edition, with the exception of a little rebalance.

The cast of characters also saw no major alterations: Justice and Cliff Andersn, who had been removed from the previous version, were put back, and one “enemy” figure was introduced but could not be played. The Story Mode, on the other hand, was entirely redone. The premise of Accent Core Plus carries over from Guilty Gear XX, and each character has an own story that explains the key moments in the Guilty Gear universe.
