Sonic Battle ROM Description

Similar to Nintendo’s Super Smash Brothers, Sonic Battle is a pseudo-fighting game that moves at a quick speed. This game uses a 3D isometric view instead of a 3D side-scrolling one; however, instead of a static sprite-based field, it uses actual texture-mapped polygons. Despite your first doubts, the 2D character sprites actually work.

There are nine playable characters, five game modes (Story, Battle, Challenge, Training, and Mini Games), four Game Boy Advances (GBAs) that may be linked to compete against friends, and a plethora of skills for each character to crush your enemies absolutely.

You can choose from three different special attacks at once in a match, and you can switch between them whenever you lose one stock point. The attacks can be either aerial, ground, or guard-based, and there are a total of nine possible combinations.

Sonic Team has added a lot of elements to the game, and one of them is a trainable character that you can level up and improve with techniques and skills. You have complete control over the robot’s movement, attack, jumping, dashing, and any other characteristic imaginable.
