First-person shooter 007: Legends was created by Eurocom and released by Activision on October 16, 2012, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Reliving missions from five iconic James Bond films—Goldfinger, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Licence to Kill, Die Another Day, and Moonraker—players take on the role of secret agent James Bond, modeled after Daniel Craig. Using the same game engine and game types as Goldeneye 007: Reloaded, the game is a spiritual sequel that was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of James Bond on film as of October 5, 2012. Additionally, a month after the game’s release, the 2012 movie Skyfall has a video game tie-in.

There is also an experience point system in Legends. A player can get experience points (XP) by accomplishing certain in-game goals, such as taking out a specific amount of enemies with a specific gun, breaking into a specific number of terminals, doing tasks, etc. Bond’s physical prowess, gadgets, and weaponry may all be upgraded with these points.
