After completing his previous adventure in the ancient Kingdom of Ys, Adol travels to this small sea region and encounters a seafaring person, one of the Normans of this new land. This person reveals the perilous situation of the area and the emergence of the Griegers, undead beings who are brutally attacking the people. Thus begins the adventure to uncover the root of this incident.

The developer has increased the importance of dodging and guarding without turning it into a souls-like game.
