Motion Twin is responsible for the development and publication of the roguelike-metroidvania computer game known as Dead Cells. After around one year of early access, Dead Cells was finally made available for purchase on August 7, 2018, on the following platforms: Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

The game puts the player in the position of a body of cells that takes possession of a corpse that is located in a dungeon. The player must battle their way out of the dungeon throughout the game. By exploring the dynamically created levels and engaging in combat with the undead monsters that are contained within them, the player is able to acquire a variety of weapons, treasure, and other items. “Cells” are a form of in-game cash that may be used to purchase permanent enhancements for the player. If the player reaches the vendor between each level, they can acquire “cells” at some point. All of the cells they have acquired will be lost if they cannot reach this merchant before they pass away, and they will have to begin over. Regarding the creation of Motion Twin, The Binding of Isaac served as a source of inspiration.
