The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II features a streamlined version of its predecessor’s battle system, which quickly and seamlessly transitions from field battles to command-based turn battles, as well as the LGC Alignment system, which allows players to change their character’s three unique attributes (Law, Gray, and Chaos) based on their playstyle, influencing their status, the forces they fight with or against, and even how the plot unfolds!

Furthermore, Trails through Daybreak II is jam-packed with novel content, featuring many new challenges around the Republic of Calvard.

Prologue

S.1209. After the menace of the mafia group Armata was eliminated, the Republic of Calvard restored its old calm.

But one day, in a corner of Edith City, a strange episode occurs in which a CID (Central Intelligence Department) special operations unit is discovered killed.

The Calvard Police and Bracer Guild are investigating the situation. However, as a new era of anarchy approached, subterranean factions began to make movements as well.

Meanwhile, Spriggan Van Arkride continues his inquiry, prompted by an unexpected visitor.

Who is responsible for the massacre? Why did they do this? What will happen to Agnes, who is seeking the Eighth Genesis, her great grandfather’s final legacy?

The barbaric roar of a scarlet beast, along with a meeting with a little boy and girl looking for “something,” will lead them down a “Trail” from which they will be unable to return.
