No Man’s Sky is intriguing in many different aspects. The core gameplay loop you can expect is that of a space exploration game with some light survival elements. The first thing you will do is survive the hazards of your initial planet, gather resources and repair your broken down ship. In the game, you will be given a series of quests to showcase the different aspects of the game but it is mainly a sandbox space exploration game. No Man’s Sky is not an ultra realistic space simulation as the graphics don’t really convey that. Your journey will be accentuated with space battles where you can fight pirates and defend large spaceships. You can even command pirate dreadnoughts and make them your own.

No Man’s Sky started as a disaster but then through the developers’ efforts, this game made a strong comeback and has received mostly positive reviews. After nearly 10 years, this is still a worthwhile game to enjoy on your Switch.
