Our narrative starts in a particular region of Allraan, a mosaic of countries with various customs and beliefs. The history of the land has been molded by the alliances and aggressions of the local humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people through the use of swords and magical devices known as “rune-lenses.”

The Galdean Empire has defeated other countries and developed a device that increases the magical power of rune-lenses.

The Empire is now searching the continent for an artifact that will allow them to gain even more power. Seign Kesling, a young and talented imperial officer, and Nowa, a lad from a rural village, meet and become friends on one such trip.

But a cruel turn of events will quickly thrust them into the conflict and make them both reevaluate everything they hold dear.

• Engage in exciting and immersive turn-based fights where the dungeon’s verticality and barriers determine the placement of characters and enemies. Crawl under the ceiling or unleash destructive weaponry on tough bosses to bring them down a notch.
• Gather a varied group of combatants with a wide range of abilities to form your party. To defend comrades in the same row, ward off assaults, irritate enemies, or prepare for a strike, use their specific defensive instructions. You can use “Cover Fire” and “Smith” to bolster your assaults, “Cheer” to boost morale, and the hot springs for a “Soak” before fighting. Even noncombatant characters can lend you a hand with their useful support abilities.
• Test your might in the arena of War Wars in which one leader faces off against another… Lead armies of warriors in ever-changing RTS-like situations where siege engines and other weapons of war have the power to change the course of events.
• Engage in dramatic, story-integrated one-on-one duels with enemies.
• Use rune-lenses to personalize your party members. Magic, powers, stat boots, auto-skills, and more can be bestowed upon you by means of the runes you insert into the lenses.
