Playing Street Fighter on mobile was an idea long thought about until Street Fighter IV 3D was released on Nintendo 3DS in 2011. This game is considered a hybrid between the original arcade and console versions, but there are many interesting additions to the handheld system. Regardless, this is an excellent game in the Nintendo 3DS game collection.

The content of Street Fighter IV 3D is similar to the console version, with some minor additions. We have every character with all the DLC outfits; some new ones have been added.

The game has many different modes to challenge your skills, including Arcade, Versus, Training, Figure Collection, Challenge, Mission, Replay Channel, and Online. Challenge Mode is considered the most interesting Mode as it allows playing mini games from arcade mode. Additionally, Figure Collection is an additional mode that uses StreetPass to collect characters (This mode, of course, does not work if you play on an emulator).

The most important part of any fighting game is the controls and moves. Street Fighter IV contains all the moves and physics of the arcade. Control is even more enjoyable thanks to the touch screen. There are two modes in the game: Light and Pro. Light mode allows the touch screen to be used as a shortcut to super moves instead of button combos, making them easier to perform.

Despite its visual limitations, Super Street Fighter IV 3D is still an excellent arcade game. It offers powerful gameplay, easy-to-use controls, and plenty of features for newcomers and loyal players of the series.

Super Street Fighter IV 3D is definitely worth adding to your collection and is a can’t-miss game on Nintendo 3DS.
