Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai is a game by Hatsune Miku for Nintendo 3DS. If you don’t know her, she is actually a very popular Vocaloid in Japan today. Vocaloids are basically computer-generated singers, and Hatsune Miku has had actual concerts, which fans buy tickets and go to even though she doesn’t actually exist. But either way, this is an interesting cultural phenomenon and she actually has some good songs.

Project Mirai allows you to do a lot of things with her in the game. First, you can play with her, call her name, and wait for her to shake her head or clap her hands. You can feed her, play minigames with her, give her pocket money because, you know, she spends a lot of money on clothes. Look, these clothes look like they’re made of silk. I’m telling you, they’re not from the charity shop. But you can also change outfits, bedrooms, alarm clocks, and play rhythm; this is the best part of the game. You can also collect AR cards and more. If you go out, you can go shopping at a store, dance at a club, or buy a house at a real estate store.

Unlike other games, Project Mirai has two modes: tap the screen or use the buttons. The game has 48 songs that you can perform with Miku. How to play is very simple; you need to use four buttons: X, A, left, and right, and just press in the required screen sequence. It’s a bit difficult in terms of rhythm, but it’s really fun.

I recommend downloading Project Mirai and playing it on a 3DS emulator. The playing experience must be said to be perfect and fun. Don’t care about what other people think that it’s too girly or whatever, it’s really good and worth your time.
