The Leisure Suit Larry games by Al Lowes continue with Shape Up or Slip Out!, the fifth installment. Everything that happened in the earlier games has faded from memory. For the second time in his life, Larry is unattached and eager to meet new women. The fact that Larry ends up on a TV game show named Stallions is just coincidental. La Costa Lotta, a spa resort, is his prize for the weekend. Surely the spa is home to some stunning ladies who can’t help but fantasize about a lovely, attractive man like Larry! Hmm… is that so, or what? Discovering this is the objective of the game!

Less emphasis on plot and more on talking to ladies and solving riddles in this installment. The whole match takes place at La Costa Lotta. The game has a plethora of classic inventory-based puzzles. There is no need to restore a saved game whenever Larry dies; the player can try again after each death. on addition to being the first Larry game to include SVGA visuals, this one also has voice-overs on the CD version.
