With a score of 98.08%, puNES is rated as the second most accurate NES/FDS emulator, after Mesen.
Sadly, these test ROMs don’t test everything that’s necessary for precise emulation (and sometimes they test things that aren’t necessary for reproducing any games at all). Therefore, even though the test results might be a little deceptive, the emulator still has high accuracy. It has cycle-accurate CPU emulation, just like a lot of other Famicom emulators (like Nestopia).
PuNES includes solid standard emu options, such as a robust input setup UI and rewind capabilities, in addition to its great accuracy.
