Gather all your courage into your fists and immerse yourself in the chaos of the collapsing world. Between darkness and salvation there are only four heroes and the Diligence Chariot.

Explore your journey through many lands

Each journey is a special story – each expedition lasts from 30 minutes to several hours. Even if you fail, you still receive much-needed resources for your next journey. Altar of Hope: take advantage of the upgrade and reward system, allowing you to unlock new strategies for each subsequent trip. Choose what you need for your next attempt to reach the Mountain.

The game brings back the groundbreaking combat system from Darkest Dungeon, and we’ve made it even better, transforming many of its elements: from the stats to the rules. And the new marking mechanism adds depth, allowing for more considered decisions.

During the journey, the heroes become closer to each other, learn to work as a team, or drive each other crazy, and the expedition ends tragically. Relieve the heroes’ stress and manage their relationships to keep the team from falling apart despite everything.

The entire long journey to the Mountain – from burning Pogradye to dead plagued Smradye – you will have to prove your steadfastness and correct tactics. Explore five remote regions, each presenting unique challenges and enemies.

Physically and mentally exhausted, the heroes can rest at the tavern while you relieve stress and manage their relationship through a variety of options that soothe the mind and body. Go to the Mountain and face the monstrous manifestation of your own weakness.

Darkest Dungeon’s signature art style is now even better with 3D graphics, new animations and visual effects. And Darkest Dungeon’s sound team returns. Enjoy a storyline narrated by the familiar voice of Wayne June, new music by Stuart Chatwood and impressive sound effects from Power Up Audio.
